Main theme of poem, style, etc. This poem talks relates how you and I have not physically seen the wind, but we can see what the wind does.. (moves leaves on trees, blows things over, etc.)
Extension activities or a Children’s book that this can connect to: This poem could be used for a science lesson for 2nd graders. It ties ELA in with science. You could study the poem and do your lesson with ELA and follow that with connecting it to science since it is about wind.
