Easy Finger Puppets

What's your favorite animal or book character? 

You can make a simple puppet of it by following these directions.

You need:

A drawing or print out of your animal or character.  You can find thousands of images by searching in your browser and looking for images. Clip art images are even more simple designs. Here are some I used when I looked for Rhinoceros.

Be sure your print or drawing is bigger than your hand.

Color or draw, paint, or print your picture.

Carefully, cut around the edge of your picture.

Near the feet (or where you imagine the feet to be, make 2 dots that are slightly larger than your fingers.

You can put clear tape on the back before you cut the dots out, to make the paper stronger. 

Cut out the circles carefully. 

Now make your puppet walk or dance by putting your fingers through the holes. 

Clean up the paper scraps and Put on your play!
