Watch and listen to the story.

Use paper (old magazines whorl work great) and juice or milk cartons to make your own patchwork elephant.  You need glue and paper.

Then write your own story.

Click, Clack, Moo:  Cows That Type

2000.  Simon and Schuster Books for Young Readers:  New York.  Read by:  Amanda Copulos (ISPA Teacher).

Activity:  It is hard being stuck inside when you want to go out, whether it is rainy outside or you can't go out because of illness.  Let's make a list of demands for Farmer Brown.  What are the things that you really really wish you had right now?  Is there anywhere you want to go?  Write up your list of demands for Farmer Brown (or if you have a computer or typewriter, type them out!). https://youtu.be/S8lR7D1pyOo

ACTIVITY:  Now that you have read The Most Magnificent Thing I have a challenge for you (and an adult!).

Take a small bag, a tote bag, or grocery bag, and gather up unused or unwanted items from your household.  They could be toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, empty containers, old shoeboxes. Make a plan with your adult of what you could build with all of these items.  You will probably need tape or glue to hold your items together.  Gather markers, paint, old cloth, ribbons- let your imagination take over!
